2023 election: It’s time for payback, Hon Dozie Nwankwo vows

The Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for 2023 Anambra Central Senatorial election, Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, MHR has enjoined members of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to henceforth work assiduously at all levels to return the party to its formidable winning as a reproach for pay back for voting into power of Governor Charles Soludo.

According to Dr Nwankwo, who spoke during the inauguration of his campaign team at Agu Awka, noted that APGA is a household name in Anambra and that is the reason. He noted that it is time to pay appreciation to those who helped in seeing the victory of the state governor.

” This is a payback time. We certainly need to reawaken the dogged Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu spirit in all of us. APGA must stand tall as it always do, in our state. Things happening around us make it look like we are no more the party in power.

“This event wis the inauguration of my campaign organization is to encourage, motivate and cherish all of us about the beautiful ideals of APGA that we are all proud of. So we want to stand firm and stay strong to power. During the primaries election, it was due to spirit of party loyalty that made the victory today. He charged party members to keep steadfast, togetherness in the fight to victory and the spirit to take over the mantle of leadership.

He therefore urged the members of his campaign structure, other officers and members of the party to work for general benefit of the party,” just as we all worked collectively hard in the governorship election and recorded a resounding victory.

Flanked by the party’s House of Representatives candidate for Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha, Chief Pete Ibida and some State Constituency candidates in Anambra Central senatorial zone, Nwankwo who is the incumbent member at Green Chambers of the National Assembly amidst a standing ovation unveiled and inaugurated his campaign team.

He said, “I hereby urge you to go out and work to ensure we all emerge victorious. Go and work, show your skills. See this as a call to duty. A service to God and humanity. We need that togetherness in this fight, the spirit to take over the mantle of leadership”.

Hon. Nwankwo who expressed optimism that the calibre of persons in the campaign organisation would put in their best to justify their selection, charged them to give it their all.

“You have been drafted into campaign organisation to ensure that the ground work is laid for the successful outing on February 25th, 2023 for APGA. Your selection is based on your capacity, loyalty, track record of service to the party and commitment to the success of the project”, he stated.

Responding on behalf of the Campaign Organization, the newly appointed Director General, Barr. Ayodele Obiadi said they would hit the ground running to ensure that the tasks assigned to them are effectively carried out.

“We thanked the incoming Red Chamber law maker for finding us worthy to lead the movement. It is a great privilege and a golden opportunity for us to demonstrate that Hon. Dozie Nwankwo is the people’s choice and we will set the pace towards his victory”, he assured.

Others appointed includes, Hon Amake Obi named Deputy Director Campaign Council, while Hon Martin Dike, Hon Chikelouo Ben, Chief Sir CNC Nwafor, Hon Nkemakuma Aniebonam, and Comr Rome Ibekwe, were named Director of Finance, Director Youth Affairs, Leader Religion Affairs, Leader Women Affairs, Media Director/administrative Secretary, respectively.
