The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, (ANAN), Imo State chapter, on Tuesday concluded her annual general meeting in Owerri, the state capital, where members elected Sir Chukwuma Uchehara as Chairman, to pilot affairs of the association for a period of two years.
In his speech earlier, the immediate past Chairman of the association and member, Council of ANAN, Chief Peter Anyanwu, congratulated Chukwuma Uchehara on his emergence as Chairman.
Anyanwu described the election as free, fair and credible, as he urged the new executive members to follow the footsteps of their predecessors to lift the association.
Also, one of the members of the association, Mr Okechukwu Orji, congratulated the new executive members, adding that the past admnistration did well during its tenure and enjoined the new executives to continue from where the last administration stopped, in order to make the association proud.
In his remarks, the newly elected Chairman of ANAN, Chukwuma Uchehara, thanked the Almighty God for making the day a reality, especially for having a successful election that brought him and his executives to power. He thanked members of the association for electing him as their chairman.
Ucheghara assured members of the association that he will operate open door administration, that will carry everybody along in the scheme of things. He solicited for the support and cooperation of the members in order to succeed.
