A very reliable source has hinted that there is going to be a cabinet reshuffle as well as sack of local council chairmen any moment from now. According to News Echo sources, “Let me inform you that Governor Hope Uzodimma is poised to reshuffle his cabinet. He will dissolve the state executive council made up of the commissioners and the Special Advisers. We also learnt that some Senior Special Assistants’ (SSA’s) are also affected”.

The reason for the imminent dissolution of the state executive council is the low performance recorded so far by most of the aides as well as the in -fighting between them. It said that most of the commissioners had been fighting dirty with their SA counter parts and this has brought the government of the day to disrepute.

It was also gathered that the council chairmen were equally as guilty as the commissioners as they were also involved in free for all with their councilors or other government dictionaries. Again, the governor was said to be considering some other options concerning the court case that favoured the Senator Rochas Okorocha’s local council chairmen and councilors.
