The Umuahia home of ABN Director, Mr Ifeanyi Okali has continued to welcome more visitors and well wishers, three weeks after the Journalist and his wife welcomed their first child after eleven years of marriage. Following the birth of their baby girl, Okali’s home has been a Mecca of sort as friends and loved ones have continued to identify with the family over the good news.

The latest to identify with the Journalist is Chief Obinna Aguocha, Labour Party the House of Representatives member-elect for Ikwuano/Umuahia North/ Umuahia South Federal Constituency.

Aguocha who stormed Okali’s home with some of his supporters, commended the couple for exhibiting uncommon trust in God during their eleven years of childlessness and extolled the deep love between the spouses throughout their wait for God’s blessings.

He encouraged other Nigerians, especially those who may be battling with childlessness to emulate the Okalis by not losing hope.

Aguocha who commended the ABN Director for his objectivity in news reportage, urged him to maintain his unbiased style in news coverage and presentation.

The incoming House of Representatives member, who promised to be involved in the church dedication of the child, said he was not aware that Okali and his wife never welcomed a baby till recently.

He expressed gratitude to God for wiping the tears of the family after a long period of waiting. In his response, Okali thanked Hon. Aguocha for finding time to identify with his family despite his busy schedule.

Also speaking with News Echo, the elated new father said his house was being visited by Abians of different category, on daily basis. Those that have so far visited to the couple according to him are the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Chinedum Orji, traditional ruler of Ebem Ancient Kingdom, HRH, Ezie Ukoha Kalu Ukoho and his wife, Ugoeze Ukoha.

He added that Journalists, Online media practitioners, church leaders and politicians have also visited his home to catch a glimpse of the miracle baby. Okali further described the arrival of his daughter, Miss Chizaramekpere Olachi Precious Ifeanyi Okali as a jinx breaker in his life and that of his family, saying that it ended the years of mockery from some people.
