Two suspected drug peddlers have been apprehended by members of the Rumuagholu Security Planning and Advisory Committee (RUSPAC), in the area and recovered some illicit drugs.
The local security body also apprehended a nineteen year-old-boy, who allegedly had canal knowledge of his thirteen year-old cousin, alongside three suspects for alleged burglary.
Confirming the incident to journalists, commander of RUSPAC, Henry Nyebuchi-Amadi said the suspects were arrested based on a tip-off from the public about the illicit activities of the drug dealers.
Nyebuchi-Amadi disclosed that six suspects were arrested by the vigilante, explaining that two of them were drug sellers, noting that all the suspects would be handed over to the appropriate authorities. One of the suspects involved in the drug business pleaded for forgiveness.
Meanwhile the nineteen year-old-boy, who allegedly had canal knowledge of his thirteen year-old cousin denied the allegations levied against him.
