The Assistant Commander of Emohua Local Government Vigilante Service, EMOVIS in Obelle Community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State simply identified as Kemkem has been killed by suspected cult gang terrorizing the area.
News Echo gathered that suspected cultists invaded the community and shot sporadically after killing their target.
The Commander of EMOVIS in Obelle who confirmed the incident to journalists said his corpse was also taken away by the suspected cult group.
While a senior police officer attached to Rumuji Police station confirmed the killing, but the Rivers State Police Command is yet to issue official statement on the incident.
