The reckless killing of citizens of Imo state by security operatives have continued unabated.
On Monday night, a trigger happy security operative allegedly shot dead again, yet to be identified farmer, at the centre of the government house roundabout, the heart of the city.
The farmer was carrying pigs in his 14 seater – bus when he was shot and killed by the security personnel guarding the area.
Residents of the the capital city woke up Tuesday morning to find remains of the deceased in his vehicle near the government house chapel, along Bank Road.
The development was said to have caused panic as early morning travellers and users of the road scampered for safety on sighting the corpse lying in the vehicle
No official statement has been received from the state government or any of the security agencies as at the time of filling this report.
It would be recalled that 24 hours earlier, military men had near the venue of the incident shot dead an IMSU undergraduate
