Suspected gunmen have kidnapped 20 people in Nasarawa state, including a former education secretary of Nasarawa local government area of the state, Malami Salihu.
Salihu was in one of three vehicles travelling to Toto Local Government Area of the state, but were ambushed and kidnapped along Mungi Sharp Conner Buga Gwari, Gadabuke area of the local government.
The kidnappers thereafter marched the 20 into the bush, where the lifeless body of Salihu, who was among those kidnapped, was later found in the bush near the road.
The secretary of Gadabuke emirate council, Abdullahi Baba who confirmed the incident to newsmen said the abductors had come out in their numbers came from bush and attacked the vehicles plying the road.
The police are yet to speak on the incident.
