Four persons have been kidnapped by armed criminals in a community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The incident which took place earlier hours of Monday within Omudioga community in Emohua came barely two days after some passengers of a commercial bus were abducted in Omudioga axis of Omoku-Elele axis of the road.
The commander of security planning and advisory committee (OSPAC) in Omudioga community, Alex Umezurike who confirmed the attack to News Echo said the hoodlums invaded the community, broke into the house of their targets and kidnapped two of their victims and later moved to the main road along the axis to kidnap two others victims.
Umezurike complained that although the whereabouts of the victims were still unknown. He added that the operation would not have been possible if not for the shock of announcement of disbandment of OSPAC
Rivers State Police command was yet to make official statement on the kidnap as at the time of filing this report.
