I’ll justify the confidence reposed on me by the Governor – Imo commissioner

A newly sworn-in commissioner in Imo state, Barr. Jerry Egemba has said he will justify his appointment by rendering quality service to the Ministry assigned to him.

He expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for finding him worthy to be appointed a honorable commissioner in the state, adding that he would always remain grateful as it is remarkable for him to be part of Gov. Uzodimma’s government. He further expressed joy to the people of his community Umunumo to be with him despite the short notice and assured that his office is for everyone. Barr. Egemba promised to do his best to ensure that Imo becomes the State of our dream. He further disclosed that he would not disappoint the people of the state.

He urged imolites to join the Man who knows the road and opined that he joined All progressives Congress (APC) in 2020 and now he is a commissioner of the state, according to him, he wasted years in people’s Democratic Party (PDP) since 1998 till 2020.

The Honourable Commissioner stated that he was one of those who drafted 1999 constitution. He opined that he has a better option now with All Progressives Congress, which he described as a promise fulfilled. The governor who swore in 3 commissioners, 27 sole administrators and others charged the new appointees to use their position to serve the people and drive the affairs of the government. The governor said he is optimistic that he would add great value to his administration.
