Ex Deputy Chairman of PDP, Imo State and a popular politician, Sir Martins Ejiogu, has hailed Governor Hope Uzodimma on achievements, assessing the Governor as a pragmatic leader, a good team player and generous person who is very tolerant and easy going.
Ejiogu added that Uzodimma is a visionary and selfless politician who uses his wealth of experience in politics and governance to exemplify true democracy in Imo State, an acumen he said manifests in his numerous achievements which he affirmed breed social development and economic prosperity to the edification of the most appreciable tourist state in the South East region.
Ejiogu, who interacted with our reporter in Owerri on Thursday, reflected that the “sterling performance of the Governor on quality road construction, rehabilitation, youth rejuvenation via skills acquisition or training, agriculture, inroads in education and health sectors, regular payment of workers salaries and wages increment, dredging of Oguta/Orashi River to link Atlantic Ocean for enhanced trade and commercialization, building of structures such as low cost housing estates, the ongoing IICC building project among plenty other achievements are adding impetus to the social and economic advancement of the state”.
The Owerri born politician and technocrat believes that the Governor will firmly and courageously consolidate these giant gains when he is elected for the second term in office as governor, hence he called on the people of Imo State to discard every politically incorrect statement or criticism against the Shared Prosperity led government and give him their deserved mandate.
Also, Ejiogu called on the political class particularly those in the opposition parties to throw their weight at the APC governorship candidate to collectively recover Imo State to the joy, comfort, peace, progress, security and prosperity of all persons.
