The secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha has described as laugh able the conspiracy theories being raised against corona virus vaccines by some unpatriotic Nigerians and Africans. Mustapha who is also the chairman, Presidential Task Force (PTF), on COVID 19, said this,weekend while addressing journalists at the government house,Owerri after a courtesy call on Governor Uzodimma. He advised Nigerians to discard such theories that the vaccines are intended by the western world to depopulate Africa.
He disclosed that NAFDAC has authorized the emergency use of Astra Zeneca Oxford vaccine which he said was one of the first consignment of vaccines to be received by end of February 2021.The SGF underscored the fact that while awaiting vaccination, observance of all the COVID 19 protocols was the best vaccine for all Nigerians as the pandemic was not a fluke or a joke but a deadly global infection that has caused over 110 million deaths globally.”As we begin the process of vaccination,l appeal to Nigerians to make themselves available to receive the vaccines.
I advice people to discard the conspiracy theories about the vaccines being used to reduce the population of Africans. If they want to kill us there are other means of doing so. I don’t believe anyone will spend so much money to do that. My appeal is that they discard this conspiracy theories flying around.” the SGF said.Mustapha commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for the efforts he has put in place within one year in office to transform the state and urged him to sustain the tempo.
