The Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Imo State Chapter, has passed Vote of implicit Confidence on Governor Hope Uzodimma over his quality performance and good politicking across board.
Also, the association has endorsed the Governor for second tenure in office as governor to enable him consolidate good governance targeted at reconstructing, rehabilitating and recovering the state for improved education, health, social development, economic prosperity, peace, security and relaxation.
The Vote of Confidence and Endorsement of Governor Hope Uzodimma were arrived at during a World Press Conference held at Imo ALGON’s Office in Owerri on Wednesday.
Speaking, ALGON Chairman, Imo State, Adm. Chief Willie TC Okolieogwo, hinted that the Governor has done laudable achievements which he said are enhancing development, encouraging commercial activities and social comfort in Imo State.
“As the Chief Executives of Imo State grassroot administration, we took a comprehensive, compendious, thorough and all inclusive review and appraisal of the unprecedented political developments, visible democracy dividends, people oriented programs and infrastructural revolution being witnessed in all various local government areas of Imo State under the able, visionary, result oriented, proactive and purpose driven leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma”.
Okolieogwo therefore urged Imolites to see reason and support the reelection bid of Governor Hope Uzodimma to enable him continue his good work.
