Youths of Ben Simeon Synagogue, Community of Hashem, Owerri, have been charged to remain steadfast on the activities of God while working efficiently, selflessly for humanity with a view to achieving more success, peace, development, security and comfort in the society.
This charge was given by the Youth Leader, Ben Simeon Synagogue, Osuagwu Jerry, when the youth celebrated their Weekly Activities and Thanksgiving on God’s goodness and mercy, held last week, at the Synagogue, Owerri.
The Youth Leader stated that when worshippers of Yahweh work for God with their energy, in righteousness and sincerity, “with high level of commitment”, they would live without trouble while succeeding in their efforts to grow the Sabbath, as well as win souls for Yahweh.
Appreciating the youth for their coordination, cordiality, activeness and contributions to the things of God and humanity, Osuagwu appreciated all members of the Synagogue for their passion and crave for godliness.
In a homily, the National Leader of the Youth of Ben Simeon Community of Hashem, Brother Isaac Nwankwo, urged the congregation to keep themselves holy while being in the House of God which he said is filled with holiness, emphasising how a pure Israelite, Prophet Moses, stepped into a holy ground at Egypt barefooted, where God spoke to him, with fire burning and consuming no plant or animal, stressing on gratitude, love, preservation (documentation) of righteousness, firm purpose of commerce (trading) and industry, saying God created humans to rejoice and praise Him always.
Applauding the youth on their commitment to the things of the Synagogue, Apostle Izunna Okolie, Southern Region Coordinator and Pastor in charge of Ben Simeon Synagogue Owerri, told the youth to remain resolute as they worship God, as well as work in His Vine Yard to merit more of His blessings and guidance.
“Imbibe the values of Almighty God and put to practice all the teachings of God. Be able to live exemplary life, because what youths of today is, is what the society will be tomorrow. It is a good thing that the youth remember their Creator in coming to thank Him at the Synagogue”, Apostle Izunna added.
