The Principal, Holy Ghost College Owerri, Rev. Fr. Samuel Agu, has hailed the 91 Set Old Boys of the college for building and donating an Ultra Modern Kitchen to the school.
Fr. Agu gave the commendation during the official unveiling of the kitchen which was performed by the Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, Most Rev. Dr. Moses Chikwe.
The Principal, while encouraging all and sundry to cue into the development projects going on in the college, stressed that the school will always “admonish individual, groups, sets, chapters and indeed the national body of the Old Boys to take up projects in order to build Holy Ghost College Owerri of our dream where our children can come and find conducive teaching and learning environment.
Sincerely, we are very much grateful to the Holy Ghost College Owerri Old Boys especially the 91 Set for this state of the art ultra modern kitchen”.
They college also thanked God for the opportunity, just a he appreciated the Archbishop and his Auxiliary for the opportunity of the commissioning of the ultra modern kitchen.
Speaking earlier, Chairman of the 91 Old Boys of Holy Ghost College Owerri, Mr. Enyinna Onyeukwu, said though people are blessed in different ways, hence the 91 Set has come to give back to the school what it gave them many yeas ago that contributed to their success.
Thus, Engineer Sleek Concepts, who constructed the ultra modern kitchen, was also sighted appreciating his beautiful work
The event which was so memorable was moderated by the Public Relations Officer of the Old Boys, Hon. Sam Obodo, who expressed satisfaction over the praise the school showered on them.
