Rotary Action Group for Peace Nigeria Chapter, has described the Anambra State Commissioner of Police CP, Aderemi Adeoye as an epitome of patriotism and civility, whose relentless services to humanity is second to non.
The National Chairman, Rtn Pietro Uzochukwu macleo made the remark during the group’s courtesy visit to the commissioner’s office at Police Command, Amawbia on 7th April, 2023.

Speaking during the congratulatory message, Rtn Pietro represented by the Assistance Public spokesperson, Rtn Uchenna Ezeani noted that CP Adeoye is “an epitome of of patriotism and civility, an icon worthy of emulation by generations of public servants. Your years of service are notable with histories, evidences and accounts of gallantry,,courage and grandeur, and your life is selflessness transcends and precedes you across states of federation”
“As you wind down to hang your boots and journey into the next phase of your glorious life, we applaud you for doing so without any blemish, and further encourage you to continue your life of service; humanity and Nigeria needs nationalists like you very distinguished self; individuals that serve above self and sentiments to pull put her doldrums”.
Earlier, in an opening remark, Rtn Dennis Ekemezie, Past Assistant Governor of Rotary International, Zonal Coordinator South East however, eulogised CP Adeoye for minimising insecurity and crime as well as bringing peace among warring communities in Anambra.
In his response, CP Adeoye expressed happiness for his successful years of service to humanity especially without any form of dent or omission. He added that he is most grateful for ending his career in Anambra, a state he praised that has so much doggedness and love poverty rate among other states in the Nigeria.
“Anambra people are good, I promise not to say any bad words about them because they will see you as their own, no discrimination, no prejudice, they take you as they take their own and is a lesson to human relations. The people are hardworking which atract people to come and live. I am not surprised to say that Anambra state has the lowest poverty rate in Nigeria”.
“I appreciate the people of the state for their cooperation, thank the state goverment for their support, and all of us the stakeholders for believing that which the future holds”.
Highlights of the visit were the presentation of Award of ‘Distinguished Service to Humanity’, Certificate and Medal of Honour in recognition of his impactful governance of men and resources throughout his career as a public servant. While CP Aderemi Adeoye’s citation was read by the Past President/Charter President, RC Awka municipal, Ifeoma Onugwu.
Some of the Rotarian delegates present were Past Rotary President, Assistant Governor Designate, Obiudu Chidi M, Past assistant Governor, George Onyeanu,
Assistant Governor, Prof Uche Nwogwugu, Assistance Governor zone 15, Tochukwu Mbachi and seasoned environmentalist, Rotation Gloria Manari Obuekwe.
