An Anambra Chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and the Managing Director of Anambra Rice Mills, as well as CEO Zara Stores, Chief Akai Egwuonwu has stated that the Soludo’s fruits and vegetables Garden initiative will boost economic prosperity in the state.
He disclosed this shortly after Governor Soludo commissioned another free stalls for market women in Agulu, Aniocha Local Government Area, stating that Charly Nwa Mgbafor is dedicated to improving local infrastructure, empower market women thereby alleviating poverty and improving living standards.
He pointed out that the free stalls is a testament to Governor Soludo’s effort to provide a modern conductive environment for fruits and vegetables sellers, which he said, will rejuvenate the economic status of the people.
Adding that the provision of free stalls will not only curb street trading but it is one of the easiest way to achieve Mr. Governor’s vision of sustainable, livable and prosperous homeland.
This is coming as the Amichi born philantropist has announced an increment of his workers salary, I’m order to asuage the 70,000 naira minimum wage by the Federal government to civil workers. Making him the first ever business mogul in Anambra to pay private workers.
