As part of sustaining Governor Soludo’s Cares series, the Transition Chairman of Onitsha North Local Government, Hon Onochie Ozoma has launched the operation FOOD to EAT programme for the poorest of the poor.
News Echo reports that the distribution of free exercise book to Pupils of Primary Schools in Onitsha North was the first in the Series.
The event which took place at the Onitsha North Local Government Secretariat on Monday, 8th April 2024 had foods like yams, Bread & Pepsi, and Cash Gifts distributed to poorest persons drawn from the 15 Wards of Onitsha North to help put a meal on their table under the SOLUDO CARES Series.
The Chairman, Hon Ozoma who used the opportunity to pin-point the huge achievements of Mr. Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, thanked the people of Onitsha North Council Area for their support to Mr. Governor and urged the beneficiaries to continue to be steadfast in projecting APGA as the veritable train to board for the political emancipation of the South East.
Hon Ozoma disclosed that under the SOLUDO CARES Series, his administration will continue to deliver directly, the deep love of Governor Soludo one-on-one to the people.
Meanwhile, a very popular Onitsha City Preacher, Prophet David who graced the occasion commended Governor Soludo for his commitment in providing democracy dividends to the people.
Appreciating Mr. Governor and the Chief Servant, he formally declared for and joined APGA.
Those present were, the 15 Wards TC Councillors, Hon. Ossy Ndubuisi, Hon. Bombry Obiokoye, Work Teams, Office Staff of the Chairman and Civil Servants among others.
