The Pentecostal Bishops Association, Anambra State, has announced its 2026 Annual Convention for pastors and church workers, with the theme “This Same Jesus.”
The two-day convention, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, October 7 and 8, 2026, will hold from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily at Bethesda Bible Church, No. 6 St. Christopher Road, 3-3, Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to the organisers, the convention is designed to provide an opportunity for pastors and church workers to experience renewed spiritual encounters, fellowship and teachings from prominent Christian leaders across the country.
The event will be hosted by Bishop Prince A.A. Nwodika, Executive President of the Pentecostal Bishops Association, Anambra State.
Among the distinguished ministers expected to minister at the convention are Bishop Mike Okonkwo, who will serve as Guest Speaker; Bishop E.M. Ezenwafor, Deputy President and Host; Bishop Uchenna Charles, Executive Secretary; Bishop J. Nzeakor, Treasurer; and Bishop Humphrey Erumaka, also a Guest Speaker.
Other bishops and ministers expected at the convention include Bishop Sylvanus Ofili, Bishop Obi Onubogu, Bishop Uzo Onyekwere, Bishop O.C. Dominic, Bishop Louis Morah, Bishop Patrick Osaji, Bishop Edith Ngozi Elisha, Bishop Nkeiru Onyekwere, Bishop Dr. Festus Ozioma Ozoemena, Bishop Barn Chinwuba, Bishop Chidi Innocent, Bishop Jude O. Godwin, Bishop Goddy Okafor, Bishop Prof. Ben Obiagwuna, Bishop Matthew A. Akhigbe, Bishop Success O.A. Silas, Bishop John Egwuonwu, Bishop Dr. E.C. Okoye, Bishop Israel Esione, Bishop Onyeka Nzekwesi, Bishop Alex O. Okedo, Bishop J. Chukwumaife, Bishop Ubaoji I. Lawrence, and Bishop Macpeters Olofu.
The association urged pastors, church workers and other Christian leaders to attend the convention, describing it as a gathering for spiritual renewal, inspiration and deeper fellowship.
The organisers also encouraged participants to come with great expectation for what they described as “fresh encounters with God” through the ministry of the invited bishops and pastors.
With the theme “This Same Jesus,” the convention is expected to bring together Christian leaders and workers from Anambra State and beyond for two days of worship, teaching, prayer and spiritual empowerment.
