Two Illustrious sons of Nnewi Chief Oseloka Osuigwe, and Chikaosolu Ojukwu on Tuesday, 27th Nov, 2023, upon going through the formalities of being inducted as Senior Advocate of Nigeria, took their guests to a glamorous celebration in style.
The venue was the great Mercellanius Verandas opposite the World Bank headquarters beside the ECOWAS Secretariat in the Asokoro district for Oseloka Osuigwe (SAN) and the Rainbow centre, Wuse 2 for Chikamso Ojukwu.
Our Correspondent who attended both function’s reports that the guests, mainly from Anambra state and Abuja including top government officials went through various cuisines of their choice.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Olukayade Ariwoola yesterday 27/11/2023 inaugurated 58 new senior advocates of Nigeria at the supreme court. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola in his keynote address at the event, said “time has come for Nigerians to pursue alternative dispute resolutions methods as this will help free the courts, of unnecessary over-stretching of both human and material resources.
Speaking at the event, Dr Mrs Ngozi Ukachukwu, the aunt to Chikaosolu Ojukwu described him as a selfless personality whose interest is for the people and not even himself. She maintained that Chikaosolu Ojukwu, despite everything, has always strived to be the best in his life pursuits and thanked God for giving him the grace to be a senior advocate. She however advised him to continue in the spirit of helping the poor and needy with his new position as he has always done in the past
Chief Executive Officer of Tummy Tummy Noddles, Chief Chika Emenike thanked God for the new honor bestowed on Nnewi sons,and prayed that the duo of Chikaosolu Ojukwu and Oseloka Osigwe will do their best in their new found position in the legal profession.
Adding, Ichie Sunday Ezeobiora while expressing joy for the honor bestowed on them, tasked them to continue to impact lives positively, for the well being of not just Ndi Nnewi but every human being that comes their way.
Speaking further, Bentrand Onwnzo (IBK) thanked God for the upliftment of Chikaosolu Ojukwu and Oseloka Osigwe in their chosen profession. He said that” we are happy that our sons were uplifted to this enviable position in their practice as lawyers. We urge them to put in their best to continue seeking justice for the people.”
Also, the son of Prince Abyssinia Akweke Nwafor Orizu, Onwa Nwfor Orizu thanked God for the upliftment of Chikaosolu Ojukwu and Oseloka Osigwe on their position as senior advocates of Nigeria. He said it’s a good omen for Nnewi, as both of them have been a strong in the legal profession. He therefore called on them to do more now, as a new position has been given to them, as whom much is given much is expected. He was however elated that Nnewi has continued to rank high in the legal profession with the inauguration of their sons into being senior advocates of Nigeria.
