An Exclusive One-on-One Interview with the Founder of MBT Network, Mr. Uche Aniagoh.
Interviewer: Thank you for speaking with us. To begin, can we meet you Sir and tell us what inspired the creation of MBT Network?
Uche Aniagoh: Thank you for having me. I am Uche Aniagoh, Founder of MBT Network, an indigene of Abagana in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State.
The idea behind MBT Network Passive Income (PI) Solution came from observing the increasing financial pressure on ordinary Nigerians. Many people are looking for additional sources of income, but the challenge is finding opportunities that are genuine, transparent and do not require people to abandon their existing businesses or careers.
MBT Network PI Solution was created to give people the opportunity to participate in a structured passive-income model powered by technology and professional trading.
We launched in April 2025, and our onboarding process for the Passive Income (PI) Solution officially commenced on June 29, 2026.
Interviewer: What exactly is MBT Network?
Uche Aniagoh: MBT Network is a community-driven initiative designed to provide participants with opportunities to earn supplemental income through a structured passive participation model.
Our approach is different from conventional businesses where an individual must personally trade, monitor financial markets every day or build a large network before receiving benefits.
We use our hRobot System and work with professional traders.
The objective is to allow participants to benefit from the performance of professional trading activities while maintaining a largely hands-off experience.
Interviewer: The phrase “passive income” is attractive to many people. What does it actually mean in the context of MBT Network?
Uche Aniagoh: In our context, passive income means participants are not required to personally conduct trades or monitor the market every day in order to participate.
Once someone joins a package and completes the required process, the system is designed to handle the operational side.
Participants can therefore continue with their jobs, businesses, studies or other responsibilities.
However, I want to emphasize something very important: people should understand that “passive” does not mean “risk-free” or “guaranteed money.”
Anyone making a financial commitment should first understand the terms, conditions and risks involved.
Interviewer: Let us talk about the money. How does the MBT Network model work financially?
Uche Aniagoh: Participants enroll by committing what we call Business Capital, or BC, together with a non-refundable registration or recommitment fee.
The Business Capital is treated differently from the registration fee. According to the structure of our Passive Income Solution, the Business Capital is designed to remain protected and is refundable at the end of a four-month Life Cycle, subject to the platform’s verification and applicable terms.
Participants receive payouts twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays, based primarily on the performance of the professional traders associated with the system.
Interviewer: How much can a participant expect to receive?
Uche Aniagoh: The estimated payout depends on the package selected.
For the Naira packages, estimated payouts range from approximately ₦3,500 to ₦16,000 per payout day.
For USDT packages, the estimated payout ranges from approximately 4.5 USDT to 40 USDT per payout day.
But I want to be very clear: these are estimated figures associated with the respective packages.
Participants should not interpret them as an unconditional guarantee of investment returns.
They should always consult the current terms applicable to the package they are joining.
Interviewer: What packages are available?
Uche Aniagoh: We currently have four participation levels: Starter, Core, Pro and Elite.
They are available in both Naira and USDT, with the USDT option operating through the Polygon Network.
The idea is to provide different entry points so that people can choose a package based on their financial capacity.
Interviewer: Is MBT Network therefore a trading platform?
Uche Aniagoh: No. I would describe it more accurately as a platform that uses professional trading activities as part of its income-generation model.
Participants are not being asked to become professional traders themselves.
The system is designed around professional traders and technology, with participants benefiting according to the applicable structure of their chosen package.
Interviewer: What is the hRobot System you mentioned?
Uche Aniagoh: The hRobot System is the core technological infrastructure supporting the Passive Income (PI) Solution.
It is designed to facilitate the operational process behind the PI Solution.
Our objective is to reduce the need for manual intervention and provide a structured digital environment for managing participation, cycles and related activities.
As with any technology-based system, we continue to improve and develop the platform as MBT Network grows.
Interviewer: One question potential participants will certainly ask is: “Is my capital safe?”
Uche Aniagoh: That is a very important question.
MBT Network PI Solution is specifically structured around Business Capital protection.
The BC is designed to be refunded at the completion of a four-month Life Cycle, subject to the platform’s verification process and the applicable terms.
However, participants should not simply rely on verbal assurances. They should read our Terms of Service and Refund Policy carefully before committing funds.
We believe transparency is important, and people should understand exactly what they are signing up for.
Interviewer: You have repeatedly mentioned a four-month Life Cycle. What happens at the end of that period?
Uche Aniagoh: The four-month period constitutes a Life Cycle for participation. At the end of the Life Cycle, the Business Capital is designed to be refundable, subject to the required verification process and the terms governing the participant’s account.
After the cycle, there is also a structured process for participants who wish to rejoin. There are mandatory breaks between cycles, which form part of our operational structure.
Interviewer: Does a participant have to recruit other people before earning?
Uche Aniagoh: No. Recruitment is not a prerequisite for participating in the PI Solution or receiving the associated passive-income payouts.
We do have an optional referral incentive programme, but someone does not have to recruit others before participating. This distinction is important because our primary model is built around participation and professional trading activities, rather than making recruitment the basis for earning.
Interviewer: That is important because people often associate income platforms with referral schemes. Why did MBT Network choose not to make recruitment compulsory?
Uche Aniagoh: Because we wanted the core value proposition to stand on its own.
We don’t want someone to join simply because they believe they must recruit two or three people before they can benefit.
Our philosophy is that the primary participant should be able to participate based on the actual structure of the platform, while referrals remain an optional additional incentive for those who choose to introduce others.
Interviewer: Who is MBT Network designed for?
Uche Aniagoh: MBT Network is designed for people who are interested in exploring supplemental income opportunities without necessarily leaving their primary occupation. That could include students, civil servants, entrepreneurs, business owners, homemakers, professionals, religious leaders and Nigerians in the diaspora.
The important thing is that people should participate responsibly and only commit funds they understand and can afford within their financial circumstances.
Interviewer: Does someone need to understand cryptocurrency or professional trading before joining?
Uche Aniagoh: No professional trading knowledge is required from participants. The platform is designed to be largely passive, meaning the participant does not have to personally execute trades or monitor the market every day.
However, not needing trading expertise does not mean someone should join without understanding the platform. We strongly encourage every prospective participant to read the available documentation and understand the terms before registering.
Interviewer: You mentioned both Naira and USDT packages. Why provide two payment or participation options?
Uche Aniagoh: Nigeria has a growing digital economy, and people have different preferences and circumstances. The Naira packages make participation accessible to Nigerians who prefer local currency, while the USDT option provides an alternative for people who are more comfortable with digital assets.
The USDT packages operate through the Polygon Network.
Interviewer: What happens if someone wants to withdraw or recover their Business Capital before the end of the four-month cycle?
Uche Aniagoh: Participants need to understand that the Business Capital is tied to the Life Cycle structure. The applicable refund process is governed by our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
It is important that nobody commits money without first reading and understanding those documents.
We don’t want people joining based solely on social-media information or what another participant tells them. The official terms should be the reference point.
Interviewer: Is MBT Network a bank or an investment fund?
Uche Aniagoh: No. MBT Network should not be understood as a conventional bank.
We are a digital platform built around our Passive Income (PI) Solution, technology and professional trading activities.
Participants should carefully review the nature of the product and the terms governing their participation rather than assuming that it operates like a bank, savings account or conventional financial institution.
Interviewer: What about regulation? Is MBT Network registered with the relevant Nigerian authorities?
Uche Aniagoh: MBT Network is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, and we have obtained SCUML certification from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
At the same time, MBT Network is not currently registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC.
We are still in our early growth phase, and regulatory development is something we take seriously.
Interviewer: Why should Nigerians trust a platform that is not yet SEC-registered?
Uche Aniagoh: I would not ask anyone to trust us blindly. Trust should come from transparency, documentation, responsible operations and the ability of people to make informed decisions. Our CAC registration and SCUML certification are part of our compliance structure, but we do not represent those certifications as equivalent to SEC registration. We have been transparent about our current regulatory position because people deserve to know the facts before making financial commitments.
Interviewer: Are you currently working toward SEC registration?
Uche Aniagoh: Regulatory matters are part of our ongoing development considerations, particularly as the platform grows.
Our intention is to build MBT Network responsibly and ensure that our operations evolve in line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Interviewer: What makes MBT Network different from Ponzi schemes or recruitment-based platforms that Nigerians have seen in the past?
Uche Aniagoh: That is a legitimate question, and Nigerians should ask it.
Our model is not designed around compulsory recruitment.
The core proposition is based on participation in a structured system connected to professional trading activities. We also emphasize Business Capital protection and operate defined Life Cycles. But I would still encourage Nigerians not to make decisions simply because someone says a platform is “not a Ponzi scheme.”
They should examine how the platform generates income, understand the terms, consider the risks and make their own informed judgment.
Interviewer: Does MBT Network guarantee profits?
Uche Aniagoh: Participants should not interpret our estimated payout figures as a blanket guarantee of profit.
Trading is an activity involving performance variables, and the applicable payout structure should always be understood in the context of the platform’s terms.
Our responsibility is to provide the system and operate it according to its stated structure. The participant’s responsibility is to read and understand the terms before committing funds.
Interviewer: What are some of the biggest misconceptions you have encountered about MBT Network?
Uche Aniagoh: One misconception is that people must recruit others before they can earn. That is not the case.
Another is that passive income means guaranteed income. It doesn’t.
Third one is that registration with CAC automatically means that every financial product offered by a company is regulated by SEC. That is not how regulatory frameworks work, which is why we openly state our current SEC status.
Finally, some people assume they can join without reading the terms. We strongly discourage that.
Interviewer: What protections or support systems are available to participants?
Uche Aniagoh: Members have access to customer support and community support channels.
We also have official live chat on the platform, as well as dedicated support contacts. Our objective is to ensure that participants have access to information and assistance when they encounter questions relating to their accounts or participation.
Interviewer: How can someone know whether a communication supposedly coming from MBT Network is genuine?
Uche Aniagoh: Participants should always rely on our official communication channels and the official MBT Network platform. They should be cautious about sending money to individuals claiming to represent MBT Network through unofficial channels.
If someone is unsure about a transaction, instruction or communication, they should contact our official support team before taking action.
Interviewer: What advice would you give someone who wants to join simply because a friend told them they can make quick money?
Uche Aniagoh: I would tell that person to slow down.
Don’t join because your friend joined.
Don’t join because somebody posted a payout screenshot.
Don’t join because someone told you that you will become rich quickly.
Go to the official platform, read the Terms of Service, read the Refund Policy, understand the Life Cycle, understand the Business Capital arrangement and understand the estimated payout structure. Then make your own decision.
Interviewer: What should potential participants consider before committing money?
UA: They should consider at least five things. First, understand exactly what they are joining. Second, understand the difference between the refundable Business Capital and the non-refundable registration or recommitment fee. Third, understand the four-month Life Cycle and refund conditions.
Fourth, understand that estimated returns are not the same thing as a guaranteed profit. And fifth, understand our regulatory position, including the fact that we are CAC-registered and SCUML-certified but are not currently SEC-registered.
Financial decisions should never be made under pressure.
Interviewer: MBT Network is still relatively young, having started onboarding in June 2026. Why should people consider joining at this early stage?
Uche Aniagoh: Being early in our journey gives us the opportunity to build the right systems, listen to our community and improve our technology. But I would not tell someone that being an early participant automatically means they will make money.
Our focus is on building something sustainable and responsible.
People should participate because they understand the model and believe it suits them and not because they fear missing out.
Interviewer: What is your long-term vision for MBT Network and where do you see it in the next few years?
Uche Aniagoh: To be among the top 1% value-driven and transformative Networks in Africa before 2031.
Our long-term vision is to build a credible Nigerian digital platform that can provide structured supplemental-income opportunities while leveraging technology and professional expertise.
We want MBT Network to grow beyond simply being a platform people use for payouts.
We want to build a community where people understand financial opportunities, technology and responsible participation.
I see MBT Network becoming a much larger digital community with improved technology, stronger operational structures and broader opportunities. But growth must be responsible. We want to grow in a way that protects the confidence of our participants and maintains transparency. Ultimately, sustainability is more important to us than rapid expansion.
Interviewer: Finally, what would you like to say to Nigerians who are hearing about MBT Network for the first time?
Uche Aniagoh: My message is simple: ask questions before you commit money. Don’t allow anybody to pressure you into joining. Don’t rely solely on testimonials. Don’t assume that any income opportunity is risk-free.
Visit our official platform, understand the available packages, read our Terms of Service, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, and seek clarification where necessary.
MBT Network was created to provide a structured opportunity for people seeking supplemental income, but we believe participation should always be informed and responsible. We welcome people to ask the difficult questions. In fact, those are the questions we want people to ask.
Interviewer: Mr. Uche Aniagoh, thank you for your time.
Uche Aniagoh: Thank you. It has been a pleasure.
