The Chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Southeast Region, covering Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States, Lady Ada Chukwudozie, has felicitated with Dr Michael Cosmas Omenugha on his 70th birthday anniversary and his wife, Prof Kate Azuka Omenugha, on her first anniversary in office as the 5th substantive Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU).
News Echo reports that the ceremony was held at Nnobi, Idemili North began with a pontifical celebration of Thanksgiving mass at the St Paul Catholic church.
Addressing newsmen, the Chairman of Keystone Bank Plc, Lady Chukwudozie, expressing happiness upon the Omenugha family. She prayed to God Almighty to grant Dr Michael Cosmas Omenugha long life and good health.
She expressed the hope that he would live to see his children prosper and witness the birth of his great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also prayed for God’s continued blessings upon him, his wife and their entire family.
Describing Prof Kate Azuka Omenugha as a very dear friend, Lady Chukwudozie said she admired her greatly, describing her as a “powerhouse, a titan and an Amazon.”
“I just love her, and I wish her all the best in life,” she said.
Responding to newsmen on most challenge facing MAN Southeast, Lady Chukwudozie identified inadequate energy supply as one of the major challenges confronting manufacturers in the country.
She said the lack of constant power supply was adversely affecting her members in Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States, as well as manufacturers across Nigeria.
She therefore appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the governors of the Southeast states to find a lasting solution to the epileptic power supply in the region and the country at large.
