The Labour Party has presented Certificates of Return to all successful candidates who emerged from its recent party processes, with the Ven. Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue officially receiving his certificate as the party’s candidate for the Anambra Central Senatorial District.
Speaking shortly after receiving the certificate, Ven. Ikezue expressed deep appreciation to party faithful and supporters across the district for their confidence and support.
He reaffirmed his commitment to providing purposeful and people-oriented representation if elected.
According to him, his aspiration to represent Anambra Central in the Senate is anchored on a mission to rescue, rebuild and reposition the district for sustainable progress and prosperity.
He pledged to promote good governance, sponsor effective legislation, empower the youth, drive economic development and prioritise the welfare of constituents.
“This is more than a political victory; it is a call to service. I am on a mission to rescue Anambra Central, restore the people’s confidence in leadership, and ensure that our district takes its rightful place as a model of development, opportunity and excellence,” he stated.
Ven. Ikezue also called on stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and other well-meaning citizens of the district to unite in pursuit of a common vision for a better and more prosperous Anambra Central.
