The member representing Oyi Constituency in the state hollowed chambers Awka, Hon Sir Innocent Ojike(Ojicam) has reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises through effective lawmaking.
Ojicam made this known on Monday, 18th Sept, 2023, when he welcomed members of ‘Odimma Umunya’, a non governmental organization aimed at the overall development of Umunya community.
Hon Ojike said that he’s not in the state house of assembly to enrich himself but to use the avenue to touch more lives and attract developments to Oyi constituency.
He thanked the group for their visit and stated that his office would be ready to partner with groups like theirs to foster development in the constituency.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Chairman of Odimma Umunya, Chief Okongwu Anthony (Yawunde), described Ojicam as an exceptional lawmaker and rare breed political leader.
He said that their visit was to congratulate him on his new portfolio and expressed the groups readiness to work with the lawmaker in the development of Oyi constituency especially in Umunya community.
While calling on all community stakeholders to support the lawmaker for the overall welfare of the Oyi people.
