Labour Party Presidential Candidate in the last general election, Mr Peter Obi has stated that there is no regret about the outcome of the election and that was the reason he sought for justice at the court where he will come out victorious.
The Obedient leader equally noted that he may be president of Nigeria, a prophecy he believes that will become reality.
Mr Obi made this known during the Launching/unveiling of his book: “Peter Obi, Many Voices, One Perspective, at awka during the weekend.
In his words, ‘I’m in this journey. Anyone who thinks I’m on transit is joking. I must be the president of this country. If it’s not today, it will be tomorrow. I’m not in a hurry. I’m not desperate.’ he said.
I am here were the youths feel I am very apologetic but no we are trying to build a new Nigeria, I am in court now, and whatever the court decides, he will respect . But one thing he knows, we are committed to the destiny of this nation, when it’s God’s time it will happen.
Mr Obi however assured that he will fix Nigeria so that we will be proud to say we are Nigerians, adding that he has only one passport and anyone who thinks he would run out of Nigeria must be a joker, ‘I am here to stay and to build our Nation Nigeria,’ he stressed.
Earlier, Lead Editor of the book, Prof. Chinyere Stella Okunna described the mega book as capturing everything about the man, Peter Obi with two hundred and twenty pages. “Peter Obi is never a saint, yes he has a salt, which we no he can never be perfect but he stands out in integrity and he is the best among other presented candidates. Nigeria will be transformed if he becomes the president.’ she said
‘Whatever we realize here will be channelled into the on-going litigation. I am hopeful that the litigation will end well and the truth will surface.’
The Chief launcher of the book, Peter Obi, Chief Patrick Chukwudi Adilo said Obi is a man everyone should look at, in his way of life, his strategies and development, the manner he handles things and speak to people.
He further described Obi as a bulldozer, a man who has inspired him a lot, he added that obi is the man that will change the whole narrative of Nigerian politics, policy and the whole narrative of aspirations for younger generations to say yes I can do this’
According the Chief Adilo he is spiritually and physically ‘Obidient’ and strongly believe that his stolen mandate must be returned through litigation.
The Chairman, Obi of Onitsha and Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, described Obi as a man of destiny, whose progress in life reflects the hand of God upon him.
Adding, Anambra Central Senator elect, Dist Sen. Victor Umeh in his speech, extolled Mr Obi as a man of virtue, a blessed man who God has chosen to make things right in Nigeria. While commending the committees and editors whose tireless efforts made the book see the light of the day.
The event attracted traditional rulers, politicians, Bishop of Awka Diocese, cabinet members, Obi’s friends and fans, who donated various sums of money in support of the book launch.
