Youths have been advised to shun get rich quick syndrome prevalent among youths across Nigeria.
The founder Otu Ndi Nne Igbo Nine, Chief Chika Ibeneme gave the advise when she paid courtesy visit on the traditional rulers with some of her members to intimate them on their mission and vision during their council meeting at Government House Awka.
Chief Mrs Ibeneme who frowned at the level youths engage in get rich quick syndrome such as Oke ite, kidnapping and armed robbery advised them to embrace Agriculture and other skills Acquisition to be self reliant.
She reminded them that education is key hence the need for them to be educated as according to her engaging in social vices can mar their carriers or even land them in correctional centers.
On her aim of founding Otu Ndi Nne Nine, she explained that it was founded
to ensure Anambra State women understand their civic Obligation and discharge it creditably.
Chief Mrs Ibeneme while addressing the traditional rulers hinted that after their inauguration that they will establish cooperative Society for women among other incentive to reduce unemployment rate in the society.
Contributing, the coordinator Nzuko ora Nneni Women Wing, lady peace Udeofu noted that the objectives of founding Otu Ndi Nne Igbo Nine is to have Coordinations between igbo women, men and to ensure that proper upbringing is inculcated including the right ways of doing things imbibed on women and youths.
Lady Udeofu also condemned the rate of insecurity in the country assuring that their emegence will go a long way towards addressing the anomalies.
