The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS 5.3 Anambra Sector Command, has conducted a Zonal Special Intervention Patrol tagged “Fushin Kada” Mobile Court Exercise along the Awka–Onitsha Expressway on Wednesday, 22nd July, 2026, in compliance with the directives of the Road Safety National Headquarters (RSHQ).
The Mobile Court exercise was presided over by Her Worship Maria Anyabolu.
A total of 22 offenders were arrested for various traffic offences, involving 61 offences. Of the 22 offenders prosecuted, 21 were convicted, while 1 offender was discharged by the court.

FRSC Anambra said “The offences recorded during the exercise included:
Seatbelt Use Violation – 6
Overloading – 7
Drivers Licence Violation – 4
Failure to install speed Limiting Device – 12
Assaulting Marshal on Duty – 1
Dangerous Driving – 2
Number Plate Violation – 4
Attempting to Corrupt Marshal on duty– 1 and other various traffic offences.”
The Sector Commander, Corps Commander, Bridget Asekhauno reiterated that the exercise is aimed at ensuring compliance with traffic laws, promoting responsible road use, and reducing road traffic crashes on major highways within Anambra State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps therefore enjoins all motorists, particularly commercial and private vehicle operators, to always comply with traffic regulations, ensure that their vehicles are roadworthy, and possess valid vehicle and driver documentation.
The Sector Commander further assured the motoring public that enforcement activities will be sustained to promote safer roads and protect lives and property.
