Hundreds of Asaba residents have benefitted from the free medical services rendered by the SWISS Health Care Diagnostic Centre.

Speaking during the event, one of the renowned specialists who is a medical laboratory scientist/disease infectious specialist and pathologist, Dr Njoku Jackson that spearheaded the programme noted that it is a diagnostic centre that has come not only in Asaba but also Southeast and Southsouth to offer quality healthcare. We offer a whole lot of diagnostics and laboratory tests, including attending lifestyle therapy. We have the capacity and equipment to offer these services as well as ‘We Care Diagnostic Plan’ for patients.

“We found out that people lacking access to quality healthcare coupled with the economic crunch, not just running Health care but we were able to uncover disease from people who don’t know about their health status. So the program is also part of our corporate social responsibility.

Contributing, Health Educator and specialist on chronic diseases using lifestyle medicines, Miss Kome Ichofu, said the free medical outreach was able to inform the people of their health conditions and preventions. “A lot of people don’t know what they are suffering from or the disease condition they are treating, people don’t know why they take a particular drug. So There is a need to pass the right information on health practices through sensitization. SWISS Healthcare has come to stay as a game changer.

Representative, Obijackson Hospital Limted, Okija, Anambra state, Mr Onuoha Samuel, maintained that partnership with SWISS Health Care will deliver effective and quality services to the people.

“In Obijackson, we have a blood bank and we have a wide array of donors, for SWISS Healthcare we can supply quality fresh frozen plasma and all other blood products because of the nature of their service as diagnostic centres, so they can refer cases of still babies l, so these are two major ways we can partner with them.
