The newly elected Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Anambra State Chapter, High Chief Sir Barr Ifeatu Obi-Okoye (Igiligi Ogidi), has showered encomiums on the immediate past National Chairman of APGA, Ozonkpu Dr Victor Ike Oye (Ozochikwadolu Amawbia) and all the members of the outgone National Working Committee (NWC) of the party for starting and completing the newly commissioned Regional Headquarters of APGA located at Awka the Anambra State Capital.
Chief Obi-Okoye who hailed Oye and his team during the opening of the complex thanked them for leaving behind such magnificent edifice for the party, saying that Ozonkpu Oye had made the job of the new exco a lot more easier.
‘Oye has simplified our jobs. We are happy to have such a befitting Secretariat. I was overwhelmed with joy seeing this project commissioned today.
‘As the former National Publicity Secretary of APGA I want to say that I am particularly impressed with the way and manner the project was executed. This is APGA we all anticipated and envisioned. I am not surprised that we are where we are today,’ the Special Adviser On Political Matters to the immediate past Governor of Anambra State enthused.
‘On behalf of the newly elected executive of APGA Anambra State, I want to say a very big thank you to Ozonkpu Oye and his team for erecting the structure. Saying that I am happy is an understatement. I am more than happy,’ Igiligi Ogidi concluded.
Barr. Obi-Okoye while eulogizing Oye congratulated the newly elected National Chairman of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa and all the newly elected National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, praying God to imbued in the new national chairman the wisdom to carry on from where Oye stopped, assuring that Anambra State APGA under his leadership would complement the efforts of the national towards moving APGA to greater heights.
‘I want to thank specifically the National Leader of our great party and the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR (Odenigbo OAU) for leading from the front and for finding time out of his busy schedules to be here today to commission this gargantuan Regional Secretariat of APGA. Governor Soludo has once again proved that liveable and prosperous APGA is achievable,’ he said
