The 2026 Anambra East APGA mayoral aspirant and renowned fashion designer, Hon. Okoye Okpala (Nwa Soludo) has announced plans to produce customised outfits bearing the images and inscriptions of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Okpala made this known on Monday, September 28, 2026, during an exclusive interview with journalists.
According to the fashion designer, the customised outfits will be available exclusively to members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and individuals who demonstrate loyalty to Governor Soludo and President Tinubu.
“I am only ready to customise clothes for those who are APGA members or loyal to Governor Soludo and President Tinubu,” he stated.
Reaffirming his commitment to the Anambra State governor, Okpala declared that his loyalty to Prof. Soludo was absolute, adding that he would continue producing the customised designs for supporters of both leaders ahead of the 2027 political season.
“My loyalty to Professor Charles Soludo is 100 per cent; 99 per cent is not enough. I will continue to produce these designs for lovers of these two men because, by 2027, we are going to take over,” he said.
Okpala further announced a 50 per cent discount for customers interested in purchasing the customised outfits. He also disclosed that prospective customers who may not have the financial means could approach him to discuss flexible payment arrangements.
“I am giving a 50 per cent discount to those who want to sew these designs. Even if you don’t have the money, reach out to me, and we will discuss the terms. I will sew for you once we reach an agreement,” he added.
The APGA aspirant maintained that he would not accept patronage from individuals who do not share the political vision of Governor Soludo and President Tinubu, stressing that his business activities, in this context, are closely connected to his political convictions.
He also advised individuals planning to invest financially in campaigns for other candidates whom he believes lack the capacity to win elections to consider engaging him in real estate investment opportunities.
In a further declaration of his political allegiance, Okpala stated that his loyalty to APGA and Governor Soludo remained unwavering, insisting that individuals supporting Peter Obi should not visit his office for business transactions relating to the customised political outfits.
“My loyalty to APGA is 100 per cent. My loyalty to Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo is 100 per cent,” he declared.
