…Lays a foundation for the construction of a chapel in the Zonal headquarters

The 7th substantive Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police, Zone13 Police Command, Ukpo, AIG Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor psc (+) has retired honoured today at the after successfully serving the Nigerian police for thirty five years.
The hallmark of the event which took place at the Zone13 Police Headquarters, in Ukpo-Dunukofia, had an admirable Pulling Out Parade/send-off ceremony, organised to mark his meritorious service and retirement from service in the Nigeria Police Force.
AIG Godwin N. Aghaulor psc (+), who hails from Agbor in Ika North LGA of Delta State, was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in 1990 as a cadet ASP Course 16. He last served as the AIG of Zone13 Police Command Ukpo-Dunukofia, Anambra State, and in line with the Public Service Rule, attained the mandatory statutory age of 35 years of active service to the good people of Nigeria, and Ndị-Anambra, under the Nigeria Police Force.
The Chairman of the occasion, while speaking, thanked the AIG for his invaluable contribution to crime bursting in Nigeria, the commendable reduction in crime rate and criminal activities in the States within the Zonal Command.
Until his retirement, AIG Godwin served in various capacities in the Police Force in different places in Nigeria.
The AIG in performing some of his last official duties, decorated five (5) senior officers today. The officers are part of the promotees who were recently elevated to the substantive ranks of Assistant Commissioners of Police by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
Adressing the newsmen, Zonal Police Public Relations Officer of Zone 13, Ukpo, CSP Ihunwo Josephine K. CSP. IHUNWO JOSEPHINE K. ANIPR, said the Zone and the entire Nigeria Police Force congratulate the AIG for his achievements while in service and wish him success in his future endeavours upon his retirement from the service.
Meanwhile, The promoted officers, who were decorated in a colourful and delightful ceremony at the Zonal Headquarters in Ukpo-Dunukofia, included ACP Prince Ugochukwu Ezejiofor (O/C Zonal Special Enquiry Bureau, ZSEB, Zone 13 Ukpo), ACP Celestine Tochukwu Umeh (O/C SID, Anambra State Command), ACP Judu Nwabugwu Ohaja (AC SCID, Awka), ACP Elha Clever C. (DPO, Ogui Enugu Command), and ACP Oshiobugie Jafaru Emoefe (CFO, Anambra Police Command).
AIG Aghaulor congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to redouble their efforts in ensuring the efficient delivery of the Nigeria Police Force’s mandate. He however Thanked God almighty for his grace and protection throughout his service at the police force.
The occasion which was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, the Police Officer’s Wives Association (POWA), and the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), recounting the invaluable services of the AIG, describing him as a seasoned Police officer, and congratulating him for having served and retiring in honour.
