The leader of Great Nigeria-4-ObiDatti, and former top Legislative aide to Senator Annie Okonkwo, Barrister Tony Chukwuelue has warned Nigerians against the mistake of electing a president with drug trafficking history and, or drug addiction as president in 2023.

Chukwuelue, in a press release in Awka, copy of which was made available to journalists and prominent media houses on Tuesday, while reacting to the alleged 56-page certified report about forfeiture of resources running into hundreds of thousands of dollars in relation to drug trafficking and related issues in the state of Illinois ( USA) against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Great Nigeria4Obidatti warned vehemently that, “We shall all be accomplices and abettors if we elect Tinubu with drug history hanging on his neck and Nigerians will pay dearly for it.”

The first consequence, he noted, being that Nigerians can no longer travel freely outside the country as every Nigerian would be subjected to special humiliating body searches as drug pushers or potential drug pushers by every country he landed. We have already been labeled and coated with all manners of evil and roguery image including when a British Prime Minister, David Cameron described Nigeria as a “fantastically corrupt” nation.

So, to elect a president whose head and neck are trapped in drug trade will ruin our nation more, as most countries of the world will avoid doing business with any drug dealer whether elected president or not.
Chukwuelue counseled APC as a political party to do itself a world of good by withdrawing Tinubu from the presidential race.

And in the alternative, he urged Nigerians to use their votes to teach them a hard lesson that this country belong to all of us and we shall not allow unpatriotic elements to drag all of us down in the mud. He also advised INEC to do the needful and disqualify Tinubu from standing for the coming February 25, 2023 election as he has not disclosed this incident in sworn affidavits and other confidential documents he submitted to INEC.

The notable Senior Legislative aide alleged that “Tinubu has proved to be the worst presidential candidate in Nigeria’s political history. Despite his penchant to cover up his sordid and dreadful past by throwing money and donation all over the country, we have now known one of the sources of the money. He therefore charged the heckled APC presidential flag bearer to note that he can run, but “cannot run away from himself” quoting Jamaican raggae legend, Robert Nester Marley.

Thst, “…till date he has not provided his birth certificate, place of birth, verified parentage, identity as to his community, local Government and state of origin. Not to talk of lack of certificates ( primary, Secondary, University nor classmates ). His candidacy has become one week , new scandal. Hence, Nigeria cannot afford to allow Tinubu Tragedy happen on all of us as we don’t know how many more scandals and revealations were yet to unfold.
His Excellency Mr Peter Ob; a decent, civilised and hard working Nigerian remains the hope and new face of a new Nigeria that will attract global respects, honour and intergrity…”, Chukwuelue stressed
