Member representing Isu State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ngozi Obiefule, has charged young couples to always maintain mutual love, peace and tolerance in order to have a happy home, perfect union with good children and economic prosperity at all times.
The lawmaker gave the charge in an interview with media professionals during the wedding ceremony of her daughter, Amarachi Adaugo Obiefule and her heartthrob, Ikenna Vincent Ibe, held at Graceland Event Centre, while the Holy Matrimony Mass took place at St. John The Beloved Catholic Church, Near Graceland Estate, Off Onitsha Road,Owerri, last week.
She expressed gladness that her prayer for her daughters to marry husbands meant for them has been answered by God, saying her “first daughter married her own man” who she described as a wonderful man imbued with the spirit of love, peace, honesty and goodness.
While reflecting on the level of love and peace she heartily shared with her late husband and father of her children, Obiefule reminded the young couple to live in peace and understanding, see themselves as best friends, even as they keep their secrets within themselves, praying to God to grant her children long life, peace, responsible children, as well as provide them with necessary things that would help them to live comfortably and fulfilled.
She appreciated those who graced the wedding ceremony despite their busy scheduled, praying that God rewards them immensely.
Among dignitaries who graced the wedlock were the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prof. Placid Njoku, the Action Alliance Imo State governorship candidate in the 2019 election, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu. They wished the newly wedded couple a peaceful union with beautiful children to keep them happy in their entire life, enjoining them on the need for patience and tolerance that will guide them build a solid family at all times.
