In a bid to celebrate thirteen good years of dedication and relentless effort in the manufacturing world, Innoson motors, a brand name in the industry have been certified with a ISO 9001, 2015 quality management system and MANCAP certificate by the Standard Organization of Nigera, (SON).
The certification was presented recently at Nnewi to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Chukwuma Innoson during his thirteen Anniversary to mark the existence of his relentless pursuit in serving humanity.
In his welcome speech, Chief Executive Officer, Innoson Group, Chief Chukwuma Innoson said today is a special day, a day to remember and celebrate another milestone in my career pursuit. Innoson manufacturing company is borne out of the desire to satisfy our customers the best quality and durable vehicles.
I want to also appreciate those whose effort have contributed in one way or the other in achieving this feat especially the Standard Organisation Certification. God will continue to uplift you all.
Director, Southeast Region Enugu, Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) Engr Fred O. Akingbesote representing Director General SON, Dr Chinonso Ibrahim Okeke said SON have Standard for every product and this has to conform with the company requirements, what your seeing today is a manifestation that Innoson have been living up to their biddings including customer’s satisfaction. They have passed the inspection, testing, and other processes before SON got Innoson certified today.
He called on the public to report to SON any product without MANCAP logo as such products did not meet up with relevant market requirements. adding that “everyone should be a vanguard in the interest of our economy and for us to have value for our money and together we will win”.
Head Coperate Communication, Innoson Group, Mr Conel Osigwe said ISO 9001, 2015 quality management system and MANCAPyy certificate is a testament that is of the fact that we have been producing quality and durable vehicles and our call with the federal government is to see that their patronage is equally improving the nation’s economy. “If the government patronizes local production company, it will boost economy and stability foreign exchange. We have also signed an MOu with engine manufacturing company to come down here and establish, this will go along way to improving the production channels”.
Contributing, former House of Assembly member, Onitsha North 2 constituency, Hon Edward Ibuzo said he is impressed and his appreciation goes to Chief Innoson for his years of achievements in the manufacturing industry. According to Ibuzo, “Innoson have made we Igbos proud”. Adding that two vehicle companies exists, Innoson and others which according to him, Innoson has motivated many that the impossible is possible.
Factory manager Mr Amala Ojukwu who recueved the Excellency award expressed gratitude to God and thanked Chief Innoson who have found him worthy of such honour.
Special attraction was heralded by the cutting of Cake, presentation of motorcycles and awards to deserving staff. While those present include Business Moguls, government officials, stakeholders of communities among others.
