The Founder of Grace Angels Creche, Mrs. Ogechi Ikeh has said that the Creche offers mind development kind of Creche for children.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Ogechi Ikeh noted that the Creche is not a dumping place for parents but that it is a place where the child’s mind is developed, adding that every development taking place in the life of the child is monitored) recorded.
Ogechi who is an educationist posited that the Creche is into activity assessment, development assessment so that Personal Social Emotional Development (PSED) of the child is monitored, describing that the PSED deals with understanding the child who is either slow or fast learner, stressing that the teaching pattern for each of the child is different. She said that sometimes, the slow learning child is separated from the fast learner-child for personal development, adding that no child is dullard but that what the child needs is attention to understand the learning pattern of the child.
She noted that in Grace Angels Creche, they concentrate on the affective and cognitive and behavioral development of the child, adding that the Creche is the best in Imo State.
The female advocate, Ogechi Ikeh hinted that the school also conducts counsel for the parents so that the teaching in the school remains in tandem with the ones parents teach in the homes to avoid confusing the the learning module of the child. ‘We offer mobile Creche services for busy parents, hinting that the Creche is secured and safe from diseases as the children are being taken good care of.
The proprietor stated that the Grace Angels Creche also offers holiday enrichment program like coding, computer learning, spelling, music, good morals, hygiene, toilet training, feeding training kitchenry among others for children, stressing that when the children have contact with the serene atmosphere of the Creche, the children will never remain the same.
