South East has won a Bronze Medal in the just concluded 24th National Junior Engineers Technicians and Scientists (JETS) competition, held at the Federal Government College (FGC), Keffi, Nasarawa State, last week.
The Bronze Medal was won by the South East representative at the competition, Udochukwu Onuegbu, an SS3 student of Charismatic Renewal Ministries International College (RCM), Owerri, Imo State. Udochukwu has won several awards at state, zonal and national levels.
He hails from Amaukwu autonomous community Orodo, Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education. About 15 states who qualified in their zones came to the national level to compete favourably.
Imo State qualified in the South East Zone.
The competition was keenly contested with the contestants displaying their sporting talents and ability as spectators cheered them therapeutically and ecstatically.
The competition was witnessed by the Minister of Education, Prof. Adamu Adamu, who happily congratulated the contestants with a deep handshake with the Bronze Medalist, Udochukwu Onuegbu, who expressed excitement and appreciation to government for organizing the competition, the people of South East especially Amaukwu Orodo, Mbaitoli enclave for their support, promising his school of winning more medals.
