Anambra State Education Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha, has said that only teachers and education administrators in the public, private and mission schools across the state are to resume fully for the second half of first term 2020/2021 academic session on Monday (Today).
The Commissioner disclosed this through a press statement made available to pressmen in Awka at the weekend.
She also stated that classes will begin for all pupils and students on Monday February first 2021.
The release further mandated teachers and administrators to use the two weeks period before resumption of pupils and students to put in place all COVID-19 protocols just as in the first wave of the virus.
She warned that no school should open before the stipulated date, adding that defaulters will be seriously sanctioned.
