Eulogising the University Visitor, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who doubles as the Imo State Governor; the highly industrous University Vice Chancellor, Professor Ikechukwu S. N. Interestingly, the University’s JUPEB and Bachelors degree admissions for the 2023/24 academic session are still ongoing till February 16, 2024. The quick admission process has only required JAMB candidates who score 140 and above to take the following three (3) steps and rejoice as undergraduates:-
1. Change of institution to KOMU on JAMB portal, if you didn’t make KOMU your first choice institution.
2. Upload of O level results on JAMB portal, if you haven’t done so.
3. Online application for admission on KOMU portal via

Meanwhile, the Senate of Kingsley Ozumba (K.O.) Mbadiwe University Ideato at her eighth (8th) meeting held on Tuesday 30th January 2024 approved the degree results of 104 students of the 2018/2019 set who had completed their studies.
A breakdown of the result showed that Six (6) students bagged the First Class (Hons.) degree; 52 students graduated with Second Class (Hons.) degrees (Upper division) while 44 students passed with Second Class (Hons.) degree (Lower division) and there (3) students had Third Class degrees.
The best graduating student is Ihezie, Ugochukwu Stephen of the Department of Political Science with a CGPA of 4.75.
The first batch of these graduates was mobilized during the NYSC “Batch C, Stream 2” exercise which took place in November 2023.
The remaining batch has been successfully processed and is ready for mobilization for the 2024 NYSC “Batch A” exercise which will commence in February 2024.
