Engr. Dr. Luke O. Uzoigwe, a senior lecturer in Imo state University, Owerri has paid his dues in building the educational sector, where students come out groomed under his tutelage and supervision. He was the former Chairman, Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), Imo state chapter. He hails from Awalla Autonomous Community Isiekenesi Ideato South L.G.A, Imo State. He believes that education makes the difference and enhances state of life of an individual.
EDUCATION
He had primary school at Community School 2, Amannachi, Ebenato, Orsu L.G.A, Imo State, moved in with vigor to St. Augustine’s Grammar School, Nkwerre, Imo State. Shortly after that he gain admission into Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State with that vibrancy, he bagged B.Eng. Tech. Agricultural Engineering Soil and Water Engineering Optio. Bearing in mind that education makes the diferrenc, he proceeded to Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State for his M.Eng. (Tech. Water Resources Engineering Tech., Civil Engineering). Water Resources Engineering. Not satisfied with still the knowledge garnered, Engr. Dr. Luke Uzoigwe in trying to cling to the apex of learning moved to the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria in 2015 where he bagged Ph.D. Applied Hydrology & Hydrologic Modeling.
