“Understanding what Ofala means having being married to Anambra woman, I want to introduce that system of celebration to Uzoagba Ikeduru and Imo State in general”.
In that event, there will be recognition of talents, especially those who have made concerted efforts towards maintaining peace in the Uzoagba community. The Ofala will remain memorable and unique with the personalities that will grace the occasion.
The Ikeduru council of traditional rulers, led by HRH, Eze Peter Nwanjoku, Eze Uri 11 of Umuri, Amaimo in Ikeduru, plus all the Ezes in Ikeduru and other renowned traditional rulers from Anambra state will also be in attendance.
It is important to inform you that Eze Uzu na Ichida, the man that makes Ichida great will be there live to perform. Of course, you cannot have an Ofala without the presence of Eze Uzu na Ichida, it means that the Ofala is not complete. His coming endorses the reality of the Ofala anniversary. Actors and actresses, top musicians and comedians in Igbo land will be there. The likes of Anyi-Ichaka, KC Voice, Nonsonkwa etc. The members of Uzoagba Stars Club of Nigeria will have full presence on the Ofala day. There will be different cultural dancing groups to make the day a memorable one.
The event will not be complete if the second citizen of Imo State is not there. The deputy governor of Imo State, Prof. Placid Njoku who is from Ikeduru will be there to relish the anniversary.
Of course, if there’s anything you will take for granted, it is that adequate security shall be provided while the event lasts.
