A Group, Orlu Political Consultative Assembly (OPOCA), has asked Governor Hope Uzodimma to take legal action to recover all state properties allegedly acquired by Senator Rochas Okorocha.
OPOCA in a media briefing in Owerri on Tuesday through its National President, Barr. Rex Anunobi who is also the Commissioner of Transport, accused the former governor of defrauding the state while in office.

OPOCA stated that it totally condemn the “rascality, kleptocracy, ‘familiocracy’, fraud, senseless land grabbing and lawlessness of a monumental order” displayed by Okorocha by invading a lawfully sealed property at Royal Spring Palm. He said that the property was fraudulently acquired by Okorocha.
“OPOCA rises to condemn in strong terms the brigandage, thuggery, hooliganism and lawlessness, criminality unleashed against the state by Okorocha and his domestic hoodlums last Sunday”.

The group posited that it was not happy that Okorocha’s eight years in office was a disaster to the people who expected good governance, dividends of democracy, working infrastructure, functional, quality and affordable education, healthcare plus security of lives and properties of citizens of the state.

OPOCA threatened to start a recall process that will remove Okorocha from the senate if he failed to apologize to Uzodimma and Imo people after 48 hours.
The group therefore asked Uzodimma not to allow the antics of Okorocha to distract him from rendering good governance to Imo state in order to reduce poverty, hardship, suffering, vulnerability and insecurity.
