There is an ongoing rehabilitation work of the Health Center in Irete Autonomous Community (Ward 10), Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State by the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Before now, the health infrastructure was neither in adequate state nor efficient in rendering primary health care services to the members of the public.
Governor, Hope Uzodimma has moved in to rehabilitate health centers in Imo communities a health center in Irete Autonomous Community is one of those health centers.
According to the Councilor, Hon. Obinna Duru, representing the community in the Local Government Council and who spoke more on the intentions of Governor Hope Uzodimma to a member of the Hope New And Electronic Media Center over the rehabilitation of the health center, said the Imo State Governor wants to make it adequate.
“Governor Hope Uzodimma’s intention is to make this place adequate, effective and efficient for the primary health care of our people.”
Responding to questions on how the people feel about the development, he said the people and residents of Irete Autonomous Community are very happy about the work Governor Hope Uzodimma has embarked on, to uplift the health center that serves a population of more than 50,000 people in the area.
Upon completion, the rehabilitated and equipped health infrastructure will render adequate and affordable primary health care services to the people of Irete Autonomous Community and beyond, who will go to the health centre for their wellbeing and that of their loved ones.
