Former Executive Chairman of Ngorkpala Local Government Area, Hon. Evang. Chinwe Obinna, has been honored with an “Award of Honor” by the members of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Imo State chapter.
Presenting the award to Chinwe Obinna last week in Owerri, the immediate past Chairman of the council, Comr. Isidore Chukwuemeka, said the award was due to his goodness to youths and immense contribution to the growth of the council in Imo State. “You are God fearing. We are happy to share in your success. It is a thing of honor and joy bestowing this meritorious medal of honor to you”.
Speaking earlier, Imo State chapter Chairman of NYCN, Barr. Comr. Ezinwanne Chimuanya Udoka, affirmed that the award “centred on your selfless service to the state, as well as your encouragement to the youth especially on productivity, creativity, restfulness and positive conduct. Indeed, you are a living icon and we hope to continue to work with you to reposition Imo youths to carve a niche for ourselves. We love your doggedness and resilience. You are a role model to Imo youths and we will continue to support you in all ramifications just as you support us”.
Reacting, Hon. Evang. Chinwe Obinna, mentioned that the award on him was deserving and timely, as he enjoined the youth to continue to be themselves, fear God in truth and in spirit, love themselves as they work collectively to help better Imo State for good and security of all persons.
