To empower youths through football, the representative of De Essential Global football club, Mr. Maduabuchi Silas Anyanwu, had said that the club would assist in transforming the lives of youths across the country by fishing out budding youths who have football talent.
He made the promise while speaking to journalists during the foundation laying and unveiling of the club held at Community Primary School Field, Umuduruegwelle, Ehime Mbano, last Sunday.
Anyanwu stated that the idea for establishing the club was borne out of the passion he has for football coupled with his interest in grooming young talents whose dreams are to play football as a career.
Anyanwu, who said “as a teenager I played good football, but I could not be sponsored to actualize my football dream (career)”, noted that as a generous young man he engaged in the service and assistance of professionals within and outside the country, as he deemed it necessary to establish the club to help especially youths with spectacular talents.
He described De Essential Global football club as the first of its kind in the country, while thanking God for strengthening him to sustain the club as a standard global football club down to his fatherland despite pressure from friends to establish the club in mega cities.
