Abia Gov. Otti honours 4 Falcon Players

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has recieved four players of Nigerian Senior National team, the Falcons in his country home of Isiala Ngwa South LGA.

The four players who are from Abia State, were recieved by the Governor, his Deputy Governor, his wife Pricilla, Engr Ikechuckwu Emetu and a host of other aids during the reception.

Speaking at the reception ceremony, Otti praised the Falcon players, especially those of Abia State origin for their heroic performance at the just ended Female World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

He said that the players have written their names in the sand of history by making Abia State proud.

The players from Abia State are:
Uchenna Kanu, Glory Ogbonna, Christy Ucheibe and Esther Okoronkwo.

Speaking on behalf of other players, Christy Ucheibe extolled Governor Otti for according her and her colleagues the honour, promising that they would do more in future outings to represent the country.
