The Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano has charged the new Assistant Inspector-General of Police in-charge of Zone 13, Ukpo, Anambra State, Garba Mukaddas on being proactive on security.
He stated this when the AIG paid him a courtesy visit at his Aguleri country home to introduce himself to the Governor and discuss update on security issues, aimed at increasing security of lives and property in the State. After which he was presented with an official vehicle, while assuring the AIG Garba Mukaddas of strong partnership for the good of the state.
Addressing newsmen, the AIG expressed gratitude to the Governor for the warm reception, assuring that they will work hard to confront and reduce crime in the State.
The new AIG, according to his biography, is a graduate of Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto and has served in many police formations, including Zone fourteen, Katsina.
