The Imo state people Democratic party (PDP) youth leader, Hon. GOC Nwadike has called on the executive Governor of Imo state Senator Hope Uzodinma to apply caution and engage in dialogue to ascertain the root cause of the insecurity that has bedeviled the state in recent times.
He made this known while speaking in a media symposium organised for a former senatorial candidate, Hon. Jones Onyeriri media crew.
Nwadike stated that the rate of insecurity in the state has created fear and panic as each day unfolds with killing, maiming and kidnapping amongst others
Also, he maintained that the solution to the incessant insecurity problem is for the governor as the chief security officer of the state to engage in peace talk with aggrieved parties to ascertain their reasons for causing harm to the state.
He also suggested that amnesty be granted to the perpetrators stating that ”dialogue is what you use to achieve peace he condemned the invitation of the military in the state stating that it has caused more harm than good.
He noted that the kinetic approach of the governor is not the best and appealed to him to listen to the yearnings of the people to bring to an end the spate of insecurity.
