Popular gospel music singer, Bro Paul Nwokocha has slammed those criticizing his decision to separate from his former wife, Alice, declaring that marriage is not a do or die.
This is even as he has made it clear that he has no regret marrying a new wife, called Goodness.
Nwokocha who was reacting to some claims on social media that is new wife was already pregnant for him which made him to rush his recent wedding ceremony, said his critics were unfairly monitoring his movements without believing all explanations from him.
The Nkwa Praise singer said his marriage to his former wife was like a hell fire where he was maltreated like a kid in his own home, stressing that the squabble between him and his former wife was severally judged at Welfare office in Obio Akpor LGA of Rivers State without resolution.
He further claimed that his mother-in-law even backed him in his case with Alice at the Welfare.
He therefore advised those challenging his new marriage to mind their businesses and allow his fresh marriage to thrive.
“Marriage is not a do or die affair, my ex wife Alice maltreated me like a little kid, you can go to welfare in Obiakpor LGA and ask about our case, I must not kill someone before I walk away.
” Have you asked yourself why Alice is not talking? I am taking care of my children and am paying the rent in the house they are presently living so I don’t know why people won’t let me be”, the
Abriba -born singer said while claiming that his new marriage was ordained by God
