Soludo support group kicks off membership verification exercise

The official unveiling and launching of Soludo Support Group (SSG) verification materials has kick started at Maybond Hotel, Awka.

According to Hon. Chinedu Nwoye Glamour, Convener/National Coordinator, SSG, Chairman ASSG and member, Anambra Governorship Transition Committee, he stressed on the numerous benefits of being a verified member. As revealed, SSG has an ICT office where database of all members will be stored on the computer system digitally.

“Not every member will be appointed to work for the incoming administration but verified members who are into business, trading and artisans will be empowered. There would be easy access to SSG members who are appointed into the cabinet of the Government.”

“The Governor-elect appreciated us for all our struggles. Many of us put our money and time since the beginning of this project. I entered the committee and was humbled with the wisdom of members. My understanding of administration and governance changed after the three days retreat at Golden Tulip Hotel, Agulu Lake.”

“If you have appointment in mind as a reason of being a member of SSG, you may be disappointed but if your desires for the incoming administration is good governance and dividends of democracy, you will never be disappointed.”
