The South East APC National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has felicitated with Governor Hope Uzodimma on his National Honour of the Order of the Niger (CON) and Grand Service Star of River State (GSSRS) Awards bestowed on him by Federal Government of Nigeria and Rivers State Government respectively.
It could be recalled that on different occasions, the Rivers State Government under the leadership of Nyesom Wike conferred the state’s highest award to distinguished personalities to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma who equally received National Honour of the Order of the Niger from Federal Government of Nigeria by President Mohammadu Buhari.
In a chat with our reporter in Owerri on Monday, Arodiogbu stated that the awards on the Governor were fitting and timely as he merited them considering his democratic spirit and social amenities credence, remarking that the champion of Shared Prosperity Administration exemplifies quality performance having advanced infrastructural development, regular payment of workers salaries, employment/empowerment of youths and women, upgrading of Federal Medical Centre Owerri to Federal University Teaching Hospital, upgrading of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri to Federal University of Education, the Dredging of Oguta/Orashi River among numerous laudable values and achievements.
Describing the Governor as a good and visionary leader who radiates good and quality leadership, Arodiogbu said the honours would spur the Governor to do more good things to edify the state to the advantage of all citizens and prayed that God, in His infinite mercy, imbues the Governor with more wisdom and strengthens him to recover the state to the collective benefit of all persons.
The illustrious son of Imo State thus urged all Imo citizens to see the reelection bid of the Governor as a collective task and give him their mandate to enable him consolidate his good work for the edification of Imo State.
